From Exeter and the M5

From the A38 turn off onto the A384 marked Totnes/Buckfastleigh. Take the road to Totnes for a few miles and go over the Riverford Bridge (single line traffic with traffic lights) Take the first turn right immediately after Riverford Bridge to a lane marked Velwell and Happy Stay Cattery.

*Go up the lane past the cattery for half a mile. Velwell House is on your left at the top of the hill

Take the road to Buckfastleigh out of Totnes (Ashburton Road) At Dartington village roundabout (by the Cider Press) turn right onto the A384

Continue for about a mile and a half until you see the Steiner School on your left. Immediately after the Steiner School there is a turn off to your left marked Velwell and Happy Stay Cattery. Take that left hand turn and then proceed as *
